    » 3. I have not received the verification email, so what should I do?
  • You can check the Spam or Junk folder in your email account to see if our verification email is in that folder because the email system can misplace it.
  • To have another verification link resent, you can login to your LionJobs.com account and go to the My Account & JobAlert pane. You will be shown a light boxIf you do not receive our verification email immediately, click here. Click the link. Another verification link will be sent again to your email which you use to register with LionJobs.com.

    » 4. I forgot my password. How do I login?
Click the Login box in the upper right-hand corner of the page. You will be shown a box with a Forgot Password? link. Click the link. Then enter the email address you use for your LionJobs.com account. Click the Submit button and we will email you instructions for resetting your password.

    » 5. I forgot my username. How do I login?
To ensure there is no duplicate accounts, LionJobs.com uses email address as username. So your username should be your email address. If that‘s not working, please contact us at +6221-[phone number].

    » 6. How do I change my password?
Go to My Account & JobAlert tab menu and click on Change Password button. The Change Password button is on the left side of the screen, under your profile summary. After you click the Change Password button you can enter your new password.

    » 7. How do I change my email address?
LionJobs.com does not enable users to use alternate emails for login purposes. If you have an urgent situation where you must change your email, please contact us at +6221-[phone number].

    » 1. Why should I create a Profile?
Your Profile contains basic information of you, including basic information about your experience. This information can be used to match you to job opportunities. Your profile is your building block for your Power CV. By completing your profile, you have actually finished building 60% of your Power CV.

    » 2. How do I update my Power CV?
First, login to your LionJobs.com account. Then select My Account & JobAlert tab menu at the top of the page. Then select Edit on My Power CV pane. From there, your Profile will open and you can edit any information you need to change.

    » 3. How do I resize my photo?
You can upload up to 3 photos. LionJobs.com will automatically resize photos which are too big in size as they are being uploaded. We do recommend you to make your file size smaller because when you upload big size photos, your bandwidth limitation might slow down the process.
To upload your photo:
  • Login to your LionJobs.com account.
  • Go to the My Account & JobAlert tab menu.
  • Click the Edit button under the My Power CV pane on the left side of the page.

    » 4. How many profiles can I create?
You can only create one profile. This is so we can assure the credibility of each jobseeker to the recruiters, which eventually can benefit both parties involved.

    » 5. Can other jobseekers view my account information?
No, they cannot. Only companies with permissible access can view your profiles and CVs.

    » 1. How do I create a CV on LionJobs.com?
You can create your CV after you create your account with LionJobs.com by clicking My Account & JobAlert tab menu and then go to the CV pane. There are three ways you can create a CV:
  • Build Your Power CV (recommended)
    LionJobs.com‘s Power CV builder is the quickest and most effective way to create your CV online. You can use data that you entered in your Profile to populate your CV or you can create one on your own. When you are done, you can preview you CV and add more information, or you can edit your CV at any time. Due to the nature of Power CV, more and more organizations prefer to read Power CV over the traditional ones.
  • Upload Your CV
    This option allows you to upload your existing CV so recruiters can access, view, and print your CV in .DOC, .PDF, .RTF, and .TXT format.
  • Copy & Paste Your CV
    This option allows you to copy and paste a CV from an existing document. You can copy and paste from any text source and format the CV to fit your style.

    » 2. How is the Power CV beneficial to me?
LionJobs.com Power CV builder allows you to provide and describe a more relevant information about your background and experience in a way that is preferable by todays top companies. This is beneficial to you because it will enable recruiters to know the things they need to know about you in the first step of the recruitment process. When recruiters are faced with good CVs, they are more likely to be interested in contacting you for the next step of the recruitment process.

    » 3. Why should I create a cover letter?
A cover letter lets you call attention to your unique skills or an unusual job history. You can also emphasize your work experience more concisely in a cover letter. You can create a cover letter through the My Account & JobAlert tab menu on your LionJobs.com homepage navigation panel. You can customize your cover letter later, when you apply for a job. Not sure what to write? Use one of the cover letter templates that we have prepared for you.

    » 4. Why do I need to create multiple CVs and cover letters?
Having tailor-made CVs and cover letters gives you flexibility to apply for different types of job. Tailor-made CVs and cover letters allow you to describe various relevant experiences you have. You can build up to 2 Power CV, upload 2 available CVs, and copy & paste 1 CV. In terms of Cover Letter, you can create up to 5 cover letters to suit different types of job.

    » 5. Can I Import contents from my existing CVs?
Yes, you can. LionJobs.com lets you import the contents of other existing CVs you may already have in your local files. You can either upload this content directly in its entirety using our Upload CV feature or Copy & Paste certain content. This is a convenient way for you to establish CVs with LionJobs.com and then make further changes.

    » 6. How do I add more information to my CV?
After you complete the initial CV steps, you can view your posted CV. At this point, you can edit individual sections and add more career-related information. You can update your CV at any time by selecting the desired CV on the CV pane in your My Account & JobAlert tab menu.

    » 7. How do I manage my CVs and Cover Letters?
In order to easily manage multiple CVs and cover letters, you can name them with different and unique names. These CVs and cover letters should be individually designed differently to match various job vacancies.

    » 8. How do I download my CVs that I have stored in LionJobs.com?
  • Log In to your LionJobs.com account.
  • Go to the My Account & JobAlert tab menu.
  • Select which CVs you want to download.
  • Click the Download button on the CV pane of the page.

    » 9. How do I take advantage of Mail Out CV (the From Anywhere to Everywhere feature)?
  • Once you have built your Power CV, LionJobs.com enables you to apply to any job from everywhere, whether the job is listed on LionJobs.com or on other media.
  • Make sure you have the recruiters email address and other details you need to apply.
  • To apply, go to the My Account & JobAlert tab menu and click the Mail Out CV button on the CV pane.
  • Fill out the form, adjust your cover letter accordingly, and click the Send button. Then your application email is under way.
  • You can apply to multiple jobs at once. Fill in the details of one company, click the Save to List button then fill in the details of another. You can preview an individual email sent to each opportunity before you click the Send button.

    » 10. Who will see my CV?
When you create your CV you‘ll choose a CV Status, which determines who can see your CV. You have three choices.
  • If you select a CV status of Public, you will have better chance at getting job offers because recruiters will be able to find your CV easily and match you to specific jobs. Company Block is a feature you can use to prevent certain company from finding your CV, even If you set your CV Public.
  • If you select Anonymous, recruiters can still find your CV. However, they will need extra time to get your approval should they be interested in seeing your full CV.
  • If you select Private, your CV will not be seen by recruiters conducting CV searches.

    » 11. What is Invitation to Apply?
Invitation to Apply is a feature from LionJobs.com that allows a company to view your CV should you accept its invitation for a particular Job Posting it creates.

    » 12. How do I check for Invitation to Apply from the recruiters?
LionJobs.com will send you an email notifying you of recruiters who are inviting you to apply to their Job Postings. Click the link in the email to be redirected to the Job Posting page and you apply from there.

» 1. How do I set up a JobAlert?
There are two ways:
  • First, after you search for jobs and get the results, you will see an option to set a JobAlert on the Current Search pane on the top left part of your screen.
  • Second, you can also go to My Account & JobAlert tab menu and click the Create a New JobAlert Profile option on the JobAlert & Saved Searches pane.
  • We will email you the JobAlert to your email inbox which you use to register with LionJobs.com so we encourage you to check your inbox daily.

    » 2. How do I set up a JobAlert with a preferred job function(s)?:
  • Login to your LionJobs.com account.
  • Go to the My Account & JobAlert tab menu.
  • You will find an option to Edit your JobAlert in the JobAlert & Saved Searches pane.
  • Select your preferred job function(s).
  • Click the Save button.

    » 3. How do I set up a JobAlert with a preferred location(s)?
  • Login to your LionJobs.com account.

LionJobs.com lets you create up to 5 JobAlerts. You can search for jobs with different search parameter and set them as JobAlerts. We will email these JobAlerts to your email inbox which you use to register with us.

    » 5. Why haven‘t I received my JobAlert?
If you have set up a JobAlert but havent received any job, it may be because of the following reasons:
  • Our search system is unable to find jobs for the JobAlert criteria you have set. You can check for any misspelling of keywords or edit your criteria by narrowing or broadening your search parameter.
  • The quantity of jobs being posted by recruiters varies from day to day. If you do not receive a JobAlert in your email inbox, maybe there is no job matching your search criteria being posted on those days.
  • You can check the Spam or Junk folder in your email account to see if your JobAlert email is in that folder because the email system can misplace it.

    » 6. How do I search for jobs on LionJobs.com?
You can Search using the Fast Search function on the homepage, or you can also click any existing categories. Another way of searching is by using the Advanced Search feature. When you get the search result, you can narrow them down to find the specific job you are looking for with our Refine Search.

    » 7. How to refine my job search results?
  • After you search for jobs, you will find a menu to refine your search result on the left side of the result page.
  • There are various fields which you can utilize to narrow or broaden your search parameter.
  • Instantly after editing these fields, the refined results will be presented on the center of the page.
  • When there is no result found during the refining process, this means your search parameter is too narrow. Broaden them to find more result.

    » 8. What is a Saved Search?
A Saved Search stores your search criteria. You can then retrieve and run that search whenever you want. After you save a search, if you‘d like, we will email the results to you as JobAlert and you can set it up to run periodically. Be sure to add LionJobs.com to your address book to ensure delivery of our emails.

    » 9. How do I view multiple Job Postings?
You can select multiple Job Postings on the search result page to view continuously. On the search result page, tick the checkbox of any Job Posting which details you wish to view then click the View button. This saves you time from opening the Job Posting details one by one.

     » 10. How do I add personal notes to favorite jobs?
If you are interested in a Job Posting, you can save the Job Posting to your Saved Jobs & Application Tracker. More conveniently, you can also write down your comments about the job with our Notes feature, located on the bottom of the Job Posting.

    » 11. How do I apply for a job using quick apply?
To apply online:
  • Your LionJobs.com account must be verified and you must have your CV stored in our database.
  • Search for jobs and click on the jobs you are interested in to view the job details.
  • Click on the Quick Apply button to submit your application.
  • You will be able to keep track of your sent applications in the Saved Jobs & Application Tracker pane of your LionJobs.com account.

    » 12. What happens when I apply online for a job that‘s posted on LionJobs.com?
Recruiters receive your CV and cover letter (if you included one) via email and also within their Search & Manage Candidates Section on LionJobs.com. You may choose to receive a confirmation email from LionJobs.com stating that your CV was sent successfully. Please note that some recruiters may not respond immediately to your CV submission. After you apply for a job, your complete application is then listed on your Saved Jobs & Application Tracker pane and can be monitored and managed from there.

    » 13. Why dont I get any response from the recruiter?
The recruiter is the one with the decision to choose, short-list or hire candidates, LionJobs.com is not involved in the recruiting process. If a recruiter considers you as a matching candidate, the recruiter will contact you directly via phone or email. This recruiting process may take shorter or longer time, depending on each recruiter. Here are some tips that can increase your chance in landing your dream jobs:
  • Build your Power CV with as much correct and relevant details as you can provide. A complete CV will show recruiters all your qualification which they need to decide whether you are the candidate they are looking for.
  • We suggest you to select a CV status of Public so you will have bigger chance at getting job offers. By setting your CV to Public recruiters will be able to find your CV easily and match you to specific jobs.
  • Dont forget to complete your Profile with a photo of yourself.
  • If you apply for a job and get contacted for an interview, please respond accordingly to avoid being blacklisted in the future.

    » 14. How can I protect myself from employment fraud?
  • Protect yourself from employment-opportunity fraud by looking for these warning signs:
    • Ability to work from home or only for 2-3 hours a day
    • Requests for bank account information or
    • Monetary transactions
    • Repackaging or reshipping from your own home
    • Compensation based on using funds you withdrew from a banking account
  • Be wary of any email that asks you to download a tool or update your account or access agreement. LionJobs.com will never send an email requesting that you take these steps or ask you for your account username and password. The precautions listed above will help you evaluate whether an email or job opportunity is legitimate. When in doubt, follow your instincts - if it looks too good to be true, chances are it is. A Safe List is a feature provided by email accounts to ensure certain email addresses will not be mistaken as spam.
